ACCOUNT COORDINATOR/DIGITAL TRAFFIC MANAGER


We are looking for an experienced Account Coordinator to run client projects, support client services managers, and act as project traffic manager for the digital team. This includes maintaining a high level of awareness with client activities, detail-oriented program and project management, and professional communication with key client contacts as needed. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with an interest in furthering their career and becoming a client services manager or strategic planner.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience: advertising/marketing agency internship experience required
  • Core Application Knowledge: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Education: BA/BS in Marketing or Communications
  • Writing and editing skills

DESCRIPTION:

This position will support the Sudden Impact Client Services team in developing client programs, as well as acting as internal project manager for larger digital projects. The daily duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Knowing your clients and their industries
  • Developing and maintaining a working-level understanding of assigned client’s industries, company culture, products/services, and strategic communication plans
  • Proactively communicating with clients daily in a professional, efficient manner
  • Attending to the needs of the client and continually seeking ways to add value to the client-agency relationship
  • Managing project traffic between digital group and creative/account service teams, developing launch schedules, tracking the progress of all project elements, and ensuring digital projects get put into queue and launched on time
  • Updating and distributing project analytics/results reporting

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting key client services managers on projects
  • Preparing account service-related documents such as meeting agendas, meeting reports, proposals, and other client communications and correspondence
  • Participating in and documenting discussions during client meetings and conference calls
  • Creating and/or providing feedback on project estimates and timelines
  • Project management of larger client campaigns, keeping internal teams on task and managing to timelines
  • Managing smaller client projects
  • Budget tracking and client billing
  • Copy editing and proofing
  • Coordinating vendors to support programs
  • Handling administrative tasks required by team

EXPECTATIONS:

You must be able to work in a fast-paced, quick turn environment. You will work collaboratively on projects, as well as have sole responsibility for certain projects. Attention to detail is paramount. Strong copy proofing skills are a must. Because you will interface with clients, professionalism and dedication to excellent client service is required. You must be flexible to support clients across multiple time zones, occasionally needing to adjust daily hours to ensure clients’ expectations are successfully met. The job will require additional hours when necessary to ensure project timelines are met.
